We're back from our drive down to CA for Christmas with family. It is 860 miles, and takes about 14 hrs with stops for us, boys and dogs.
2007 became a year of tremendous change for us. Going back for Christmas was a nice time to visit with family and old friends. It's good to spend this particular holiday with family. It was hard to get into the mood to decorate our new house with anything festive, so we were wonderously encouraged to see all our family had put out the holiday cheer.
We end the year with a new home (seen above with our first snow), new church, new neighborhood, and a whole new area to explore. What a year! We've moved from CA to ID late this year after attempting to move for almost a year. We sold our home just as CA real estate was taking a dive, and Boise real estate was still strong, but we still made a great deal. We're looking forward to exploring our new home state and doing new things.
